About Us

We began our journey in 1994, when Amita and Deepak Chandhok set out to create a place where every meal brings a smile.

Back in the day, Indian food served at restaurants was usually very spicy and oily (trying to stand out from the home-style food). The couple realised that with changing times, many diners were longing for real yet simple flavours, so the Dana Choga recipes were designed with the “less oily - less spicy” approach. This made Dana Choga the go-to Indian dining destination for all age groups, especially families seeking comfort, quality, and authenticity.

In 2024, we proudly celebrated 30 years of Dana Choga, continuing to honour the same ethos — serving dishes that remain consistent in taste over decades, prepared with simple, high-quality ingredients, cooked with care, and delivered with warmth.

Over the years, with the love of our patrons and guests, we have been fortunate to have spread our wings across Delhi/NCR serving from 25 locations.

In 2020, the business baton was passed to the next generation: Veer Anukul Chandhok and his wife Pritika Chandhok, who proudly carry forward the legacy. With strong roots and a progressive mindset, their mission is to continue creating thoughtful, memorable dining experiences for today’s guests while staying true to the values that built Dana Choga.
